So Forbes just did a story on Michael Jackson’s 2,700 acre Neverland property. The question was whether a property deserves a premium price merely because a star had once lived there? Their conclusion is that star power will not enhance a property’s value and in this case it may even diminish it due to the scandal and recent HBO special about it.
I guess it was put up for sale for $100,000,000 in 2015, but no takers. Then the price was reduced to $67,000,000 and still no takers. It’s now back on the market for $31,000,000.
